Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the services provided by FoundationInspection.ca ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

Description of Services

FoundationInspection.ca provides visual foundation inspection services for residential properties. Our inspections include:

• Visual assessment of foundation walls and structures
• Documentation of observable conditions
• Written reports with findings and photos
• Recommendations for further evaluation when warranted

Limitations of Service

What We Do NOT Provide

Our services explicitly do NOT include:

• Foundation repair services or installation
• Repair quotes or estimates
• Structural engineering reports or certifications
• Guarantees about foundation performance
• Predictions about future foundation behavior

Nature of Inspections

Our inspections are visual, observational assessments. We document what is observable at the time of inspection. We do not perform invasive testing, excavation, or use specialized equipment to access concealed areas.

Inspection Reports

Inspection reports represent our professional observations at the time of inspection. Reports are:

• Based on visible and accessible conditions only
• Valid as of the inspection date only
• Intended for the client who commissioned the inspection
• Not engineering reports or certifications

Client Responsibilities

By using our services, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information about the property
• Ensure safe access to the property for inspection
• Disclose known issues or previous inspection findings
• Pay for services as agreed

Payment Terms

Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept major credit cards and other payment methods as specified. Cancellations within 24 hours of scheduled inspection may incur a fee.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FoundationInspection.ca shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from our services. Our liability is limited to the fee paid for the inspection.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that our findings are complete or that no issues exist beyond what we observe.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FoundationInspection.ca from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services or violation of these terms.

Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, images, and inspection reports, is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without permission.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Alberta.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
